Houston Haitians United is purposed to promoting and uplifting Haitians and our culture by means of creating and providing resources for the well-being and advancement of Haitians everywhere highlighting Haitian culture through events and providing an avenue to which Haitians, Haitian Businesses and Haitian organizations can network.

OUR impact

Our work directly supports Haitians in Houston. 

 

  • Donated over $5,000 as part of our annual scholarship fund for students in the Haitian community
  • Helped 1,280 Haitian migrants come to Houston by partnering with the NACC during the migrant crisis with over 87 flights purchased and 952 registered volunteers
  • Back to school drives to donate school supplies to the children in the neighborhood
  • Health fairs and provided general information about good health and preventative medicine while also offering screenings and assessments
  • HHU has made many contributions to assisting those in need during Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Matthew.
